That’s right! artisanswiss.com is a finalist for Best New Wine Blog at the 2016 Wine Blog Awards. I’m up against some pretty stiff competition, each of which is worthy of the award, but let’s keep it among friends. Mine is the only blog I know of that is devoted exclusively to the issues surrounding Swiss wine in the English language. Hell, there are almost none in French, German or Italian. I am uniquely positioned to deliver feature stories, opinion, winery profiles and copious tasting notes because I live here. And love it here. It is my opinion that Switzerland is the highest quality, terroir-driven, diversified wine region in the world that no one knows about.
It’s ironic because it can deliver today what I and the post-Parker “In Pursuit of Balance” crowd is looking for: finesse, low alcohol, unique and ancient terroirs, indigenous grapes and small family farms. If any of this is of interest to you please VOTE today.
